Santhwana Michael is a recent graduate from the University of Toronto with a Bachelor of Arts in Sociocultural Anthropology. As a lover of stories in all its forms, Santhwana’s dream is to write moving pieces that touch people’s hearts. With a great interest in gothic fantasy and literary fiction, Santhwana aims to bring together conversations around empire, war, love and decolonial struggles with fantastical elements that can be widely read and thought about by everyone. When not writing or brainstorming about the next essay or novel, you can find Santhwana frantically rereading favourite books with a cup of steaming tea while jazz/pop plays in the background (Current favourite is Laufey’s Second Best).
